Juniper VLAN Configuration

Configuring port for VLAN on Juniper EX hardware

SSH or console into the hardware. If you need assistance with this please visit our article about consoling into devices. 

First enter into the CLI.

cli

Then enter into configuration mode.

edit

Edit the specific interface and then set the interface to the VLAN.

edit interface ge-3/0/10
set unit 0 family ethernet-switching vlan members VLAN-15

edit interface ge-3/0/11
set unit 0 family ethernet-switching vlan members VLAN-961

And as always don’t forget to commit.

commit
